BEIRUT, (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Senior Hamas official Mahmoud Mardawi has urged the Palestinians in the West Bank, 1948 occupied Palestine, and abroad to intensify every effort aimed at supporting the Gaza people, who are facing ongoing Israeli genocide and starvation.
In a statement on Wednesday, Mardawi said that the participation in events and rallies in support of Gaza is an imperative duty during such critical times, calling every effort made to help Gaza a “religious, national and humanitarian priority.”
“How can our nation live in peace while their brothers and sisters in Gaza are being slaughtered, starved and subjected to different forms of torture, oppression and deprivation?” the Hamas official questioned.
He warned that the Israeli occupation state’s thirst for expansion would not stop in Gaza, the West Bank or the entire Palestinian land, calling on the Arab and Muslim nations, along with the world’s free people, to pool their efforts and do their utmost to foil Israel’s expansionist colonial project and pressure for an end to the genocidal war on Gaza.
