DOHA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Senior Hamas official Mahmoud Mardawi has accused the Israeli occupation regime of not honoring its commitments under the ceasefire agreement by persisting in killing and starving the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
“Hamas is asking the US administration to put real pressure on Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu and compel him to fully implement the agreement, without selectivity or procrastination,” Mardawi said in a statement on Sunday.
Mardawi warned that the Israeli disregard for its ceasefire obligations undermines any real chances of stopping the aggression against Gaza, calling on the international community to shoulder its legal and humanitarian responsibilities in this regard.
The Hamas official urged the international community to break its silence on Israel’s ongoing crimes against civilians in Gaza.
He stressed the need to fully implement the ceasefire agreement and move into its second phase, as a step towards putting a real end to the Israeli aggression and easing the worsening humanitarian suffering of the population.
