In occupied Palestine, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, the Al-Qassam Brigades offered condolences on the martyrdom of Hezbollah’s Hajj Haysam Ali Tabatabai in Lebanon, describing his role as vital to strengthening the Palestinian resistance.
According to the monitoring desk report of Roznama Quds News Agency Pakistan, Hamas’s military branch, the Izz ad-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, stated in a statement that they extend their condolences over the martyrdom of the prominent Hezbollah commander in Lebanon, Haysam Ali Tabatabai (Sayyid Abu Ali).
The Al-Qassam statement said that with pride, honor, and firm belief in God’s promise of victory, we pay tribute to this great commander.
The statement further said that Syed Abu Ali, together with his fellow fighters, was martyred in a criminal airstrike by the usurping Zionist state in the southern Beirut suburb of Dahiya while defending the cause of Palestine and Quds.
The Al-Qassam Brigades praised the role of Martyr Tabatabai, saying that throughout his life, especially during the Battle of Storm al-Aqsa (Al-Aqsa Flood),he offered unwavering support to the Palestinian people and their resistance.
Over years of struggle, Martyr Tabatabai played a pivotal role in forming and strengthening the resistance front against the Zionist occupiers.
It is noteworthy that on Sunday evening, an Israeli airstrike targeted the southern suburb of Dahiya in Beirut, in which at least five people including the prominent Hezbollah commander Haysam Abu Ali Tabatabai were martyred, and several others were injured.
