SANA’A (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Mass demonstrations took place on Friday in 14 Yemeni provinces, including the capital, Sana’a, to condemn the ongoing crimes of the Israeli brutal aggression against Gaza and Lebanon, and to affirm Yemen’s solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.
Tens of thousands of Yemenis protested in support of Gaza and Lebanon in Sana’a, Saada, Hajjah, Al-Jawf, Dhamar, Amran, Raymah, Ibb, Al-Dhale, Lahij, Al-Hudaydah, and Taiz, under the slogan “With Gaza and Lebanon… Preparedness and Mobilization Against the Forces of Arrogance,” according to Anadolu Agency.
Video footage showed massive crowds in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital, Sana’a, denouncing the bloody war waged by the Israeli occupation against Lebanon and Gaza. Protesters raised the flags of Lebanon, Palestine, and Yemen, chanting slogans in support of the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine and against the Israeli occupation.
The demonstrators in the mentioned Yemeni provinces issued a unified statement, emphasizing “the principled and faith-based position of the Yemeni people supporting the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples.” They directed their message in the statement to the elected US President Donald Trump, stating, “All your previous alliances have failed and disintegrated, and your aircraft carriers have fled the region in defeat.”
They added in their message to Trump, “You know the Yemeni people from before, and you will know them even more today. What you could not achieve in your previous term, you will not achieve today.”
Yemenis continue to flood public squares, especially Al-Sabeen Square, every Friday in massive demonstrations to express solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza.
For the 400th consecutive day, Israel continues to commit massacres as part of its genocide against the people of Gaza, targeting inhabited homes, medical teams, and journalists. On another front, the Israeli occupation army has been carrying out unprecedented and intense airstrikes on various sites in Lebanon since late September, resulting in thousands of martyrs and injured, as well as the displacement of over 1.2 million people, according to official data.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah continues its operations against the Israeli occupation, expanding its targets in response to the ongoing Israeli crimes in Lebanon since the escalation against Lebanese territories began.
