TEHRAN (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Abdullah Safi al-Din, Hezbollah’s representative in Lebanon, met with Ali Akbar Velayati, Senior Advisor for International Affairs to Iran’s Supreme Leader, in Tehran to discuss regional and international developments.
During the meeting, Velayati emphasized that under the leadership and directives of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Iran will continue to support Hezbollah, describing it as a “valuable and sacrificial organization” standing at the forefront of the resistance front.
He added that Hezbollah remains a key pillar of the resistance and plays a central role in confronting Zionist aggression.
Safi al-Din, in his remarks, stated that Hezbollah is today stronger than ever and ready to defend the unity of Lebanon’s territory and people, asserting that the organization will never lay down its weapons under any circumstances.
He highlighted repeated violations of ceasefires by the Zionist regime, warning that Hezbollah will respond decisively to any acts of aggression.
The Hezbollah representative expressed gratitude for Iran’s comprehensive support, particularly the backing of the Supreme Leader for Lebanon’s resistance. He noted that this support compelled the Zionist regime, for the first time, to adhere to a UN-backed ceasefire, ultimately contributing to the stabilization of the borders between southern Lebanon and occupied Palestine.
