GAZA, (The Palestinian Information Center) The Palestinian Ministry of Health has said that patients and the wounded in the Gaza Strip are trapped within a “triangle of terror”: hunger, bombardment, and deprivation of medical care.
In a statement issued Monday, the ministry warned that the current status of essential medicines and medical supplies has surpassed crisis levels and reached catastrophic proportions.
It emphasized that medical teams in hospitals cannot continue working with depleted stocks of essential drugs and supplies.
The ministry added that it is gasping its last breath in terms of urgent, life-saving medical needs.
It confirmed that many patients and wounded individuals are facing critical moments with unpredictable outcomes.
The ministry called on all relevant parties to exert their full humanitarian influence to ensure the entry and delivery of emergency medical supplies to hospitals.
In a separate statement, the Ministry of Health said that Israeli forces are forcibly displacing residents of Gaza Governorate under bombardment, pushing them into overcrowded “concentration camps” in the Al-Mawasi area, which lacks basic necessities such as water, food, and healthcare services, and where diseases are spreading dangerously.
It added that forcibly displaced individuals are being directly targeted and killed either while inside these areas or when attempting to leave them, in blatant violation of all humanitarian and international laws.
