GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the death toll from the genocide being carried out by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip has surged to more than 169,000 martyrs and wounded since October 7, 2023.
In a report on Saturday, the ministry said that 56 martyrs (including 7 martyrs recovered from under the rubble) and 108 wounded people were transported to hospitals in the Strip over the past 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip.
The ministry confirmed that this brings the death toll and number of injuries since March 18, 2025, to 2,111 martyrs and 5,483 injuries, and the total number of victims of the Israeli aggression to 51,495 martyrs and 117,524 injuries since October 7, 2023.
A number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, as ambulance crews and civil defense teams are unable to reach them, the ministry pointed out.
