GENEVA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Doctors Without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) called On Wednesday, for “the protection and respect of Palestinian medical facilities and staff as well as the patients.”
MSF International said in a post on its official account on X, “According to information gathered by our teams, on December 3, in the West Bank, Palestine, Israeli forces raided and opened fire inside the Turkish hospital in Tubas, which we collaborate with, detaining staff, intimidating patients and causing damage to the emergency room”.
The international NGO added that “five medical staff were arrested, and one person was wounded during the raid.”
“The medical staff on site were threatened at gunpoint and subjected to aggressive interrogation. Patients were told to stay still, or they would be shot and killed,” MSF elaborated.
