WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped dozens of Palestinian citizens, including a journalist, during raids in the West Bank at dawn Tuesday.
According to the Palestinian Prisoner Society, the IOF kidnaped journalist Ashwaq Awad, an ex-detainee, after ransacking her home in Beit Ummar town, north of al-Khalil.
The IOF also kidnaped a father and his son from their homes in ash-Shuyukh town, northeast of al-Khalil.
In Ramallah, two young men were taken prisoner following IOF raids on homes in al-Jalazon refugee camp and Rantis town.
The IOF carried out a wide arrest campaign in the village of al‑Mazra’a al‑Gharbiya, northwest of Ramallah, detaining dozens and kidnaping three young men after raiding their homes.
In Salfit, nine other citizens, including an elderly man and his son, were kidnaped by the IOF from their homes in Bruqin town.
The IOF also carried out raids in other West Bank areas, with no reported arrests.
