BEIRUT, (The Palestinian Information Center) At least 12 Lebanese civilians were injured late Monday in an Israeli airstrike on a building in Nabatieh City in southern Lebanon in a new violation of the ceasefire agreement.
According to Lebanon’s health ministry the Israeli airstrike in the Kassar Zaatar neighborhood of Nabatieh resulted, according to an initial toll, in 12 civilians being wounded, including four children, two of them in critical condition, and seven women.
Earlier, Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported that ambulance crews were transporting the wounded to hospitals in the city.
The Israeli occupation forces continue to target homes, cars and motorcycles in different areas of southern Lebanon despite a ceasefire agreement that started on November 27, 2025.
Under the agreement, Israel was to withdraw all its forces from southern Lebanon, but despite the deal, these forces have remained at five Lebanese border positions.
