One Palestinian injured, others kidnaped by IOF in W. Bank

WEST BANK  (Palestine Foundation Information Center) One Palestinian citizen was injured and many others were kidnappedthe from their homes at dawn Wednesday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different areas of the West Bank.

According to local sources, a young man suffered a bullet injury during clashes with Israeli forces in the towns of Sa’ir and Beit Ummar in al-Khalil.

The IOF reportedly kidnaped at least 14 citizens during its raid in Sa’ir town.

Israeli forces also stormed al-Fawwar refugee camp in southern al-Khalil and clashed with local youths in al-Arroub refugee camp after their watchtower in the area was attacked with Molotov cocktails.

The IOF also kidnaped two young men and confiscated several cars following a raid in ash-Shuyukh town and kidnaped another citizen in Yatta town in al-Khalil province.

In Qalqilya, the IOF broke into and ransacked the house of a wanted young man before kidnapping his parents and two of his brothers to pressure him to turn himself in.

Another citizen was taken prisoner during the same IOF raid in Qalqilya.

The IOF also kidnaped a young man from the suburb of Tulkarem and an anesthetic technician called Sari Qashu, who works at the Thabet Thabet Hospital in Tulkarem City.

Meanwhile, resistance fighters clashed with Israeli forces in the Shuweika suburb of Tulkarem City and attacked them with explosive devices.

In east Jerusalem, Israeli police forces stormed the Shuafat refugee camp and kidnaped several citizens, including a young woman.

The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.

In a separate incident, a horde of extremist Jewish settlers reportedly brutalized Palestinian shepherds in the Masafer Yatta area, south of al-Khalil. There was no information about casualties in the settler attack.
