AL-KHALIL, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Five Palestinian civilians were injured on Wednesday evening after Israeli occupation forces violently assaulted them in the Jabal Johar area, south of al-Khalil.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported in a brief statement that its teams treated five injuries resulting from the assault by Israeli soldiers during their ongoing raid of the area. The wounded were transferred to a hospital for treatment.
The assaults occurred as Israeli forces continued a large-scale military campaign in al-Khalil for the third straight day, involving heavy troop deployment in several neighborhoods.
According to local sources, the Israeli forces brought in reinforcements to the city and conducted house-to-house searches and on-site interrogations with residents.
The sources added that Israeli forces imposed strict measures, including a curfew on the southern areas of al-Khalil, leading to a near-total halt in daily life and movement.
So far, the military campaign has resulted in the arrest of at least seven Palestinians, while raids and detentions continue across various parts of the city.
