SANA’A (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The US army launched last night a series of aerial attacks on different areas of northern Yemen following deadly strikes in al-Hodeida that killed and injured dozens of people earlier on Thursday.
According to local media, US warplanes bombed al-Hafa area in as-Sab’een district, located in central Sana’a.
Six other airstrikes targeted Bani Hashish district in Sana’a.
Later, al-Masirah satellite channel said that the US army carried out four airstrikes on the districts of Barat al-Anan and Khabb wa ash-Sha’af in al-Jawf province, and three other strikes on Saada province.
There was no information about casualties following the attacks.
On Thursday night, US strikes targeted al-Hodeida City’s Ras Issa Port, killing at least 80 people and injuring 150 others. All the casualties are reportedly civilians, including employees and paramedics.
