Palestinian resistance hands over three Israeli captives to Red Cross

GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Three Israeli captives were handed over to a Red Cross crew on Saturday morning as part of the ceasefire agreement between the Hamas Movement and the Israeli occupation government.

The three captives are Iair Horn, 46, a dual citizen of Israel and Argentina, Sagui Dekel Chen, 36, who is American-Israeli, and Alexander Troufanov, 29, who holds Israeli and Russian citizenship.

During a televised parade held near the house of martyred Hamas leader Yehya as-Sinwar in southern Gaza’s Khan Yunis, resistance fighters from al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas handed two captives over to Red Cross representatives while fighters from al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad handed one prisoner.

As was the case in previous prisoner handovers, Red Cross representatives signed documents to receive the captives before taking them in vehicles to hand them over to the Israeli occupation army.

In exchange, 369 Palestinians will be released from Israeli prisons later today, including 36 with life sentences and 333 from the Gaza Strip.

It will be the sixth prisoner swap since the ceasefire took effect on January 19.
