Karachi: The Palestine Foundation held an International Al Quds Conference at a local hotel in Karachi, which was attended by Dr. Farooq Sattar, Allama Baqir Abbas Zaidi, Major Qamar Abbas, Dr. Mairaj Al Huda Siddiqui, Yosuf Boneri, Usman Yar Khan, Erum Butt, Arshad Naqvi, Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani, Dr. Alia Imam, Matloob Awan Qadri, Israr Abbasi, Manoj Chauhan, Pir Ashraf.
On this occasion, a unanimous resolution was passed in which the conference demanded to observe Yom Al Quds as the last Friday of Ramadan across the World including Pakistan. Conference also urges the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan to declare a said day in National Gazette Al Quds Day. Participants of the conference condemned Zionist aggression against Masjid Al Aqsa and the Holy places of Jerusalem. They also urged the Rulers of Arab and Non-Arab Countries to boycott Israel. Israel is an oppressive and illegitimate state, while Palestine is the only land of the Palestinian Nation. The conference emphasized the Pakistan Government issue a clear narrative on the Palestine issue as rehabilitation of Palestinians on their land through Referendum. Members of the Conference also demanded a crackdown against Pro-Israel NGOs which are working in Pakistan. They also urged the government to include Kashmir and Palestine issues in National Curriculum. Conference also condemned the attack on Chinese Staff at Karachi University. They see USA and Israel behind this tragedy just to destabilize peace and tranquility in Pakistan.
