Palestine Solidarity Day was observed across the country by PLF

Karachi (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)

Palestine is the homeland of the Palestinians, and Israel is an illegitimate state. According to international law, the resistance of the Palestinian people is their legal right. Peace and a just solution in Palestine are only possible when the land is returned to its rightful owners, the Palestinians, and Zionist settlers are sent back to their countries of origin.

These views were expressed by leaders of various political and religious parties, including Asad Allah Bhutto of Jamaat-e-Islami; MQM, Qamar Abbas; JUP leader Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani; Ahl-e-Hadith leader Mufti Murtaza Rahmani; Mutahida Ulema Mahaz leader Allama Amin Ansari; Human Rights Council’s Jamshaid Hussain; MWM Nasir Hussaini, MML Faisal Baloch, Aasd ,PMLQ, Sadiq Sheikh,Rashid Rizvi Advocate، Aslam Farooqi, Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan, Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam. They were speaking at a protest held outside Karachi Press Club on the occasion of Palestine Solidarity Day, organized by Palestine Foundation Pakistan on saturday.

Across the country, Palestine Foundation Pakistan had called for demonstrations on November 29. The central protest was held outside Karachi Press Club, where a large number of people participated and strongly condemned the Zionist occupation of Palestine and the ongoing genocide of Palestinians. Protesters raised slogans against the United States and Israel, expressing deep anger over the indifference and double standards of the international community. They carried banners and placards reading: “Down with America,” “Israel Is Unacceptable,” “We Stand with Palestine,” and “Stop the Genocide of Palestinians.”

Addressing the solidarity protest, speakers said the Palestinian people are struggling for their rights, and the people of Pakistan fully support their resistance and struggle. They stressed that those responsible for the genocide in Gaza must be punished. Speakers declared that the fate of Palestine must be decided by the Palestinians themselves; neither the United States nor any other government has any right to impose decisions on Palestine.

They condemned the international community’s silence over Israel’s violations of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, calling it a serious crime. They noted that Zionist aggression is not limited to Palestine alone, but extends to Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Qatar, Yemen, and other countries as well. To confront this aggression, Muslim governments must formulate a joint strategy.

Speakers further said that the American demand to deploy Muslim forces in Gaza after the ceasefire is, in reality, an act of hostility against the Palestinian people. No Muslim country including Pakistan should send its troops to Gaza to execute U.S. plans. They emphasized that the United States cannot be a sincere friend of Pakistan or any Muslim country.

Speakers vowed that the people of Pakistan will confront all conspiracies against the Palestinian cause and will fully defend Pakistan’s ideological boundaries. They criticized certain government ministers who use soft language for Israel, saying this not only harms the Palestinian cause but also contradicts the ideology of Pakistan. They stated that Pakistan, following the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, has never recognized Israel and will never do so. If anyone loves Israel more, they should renounce Pakistani citizenship and move to Israel.

At the end of the demonstration, participants renewed their commitment to continue a strong solidarity campaign for the Palestinian people and raised slogans in support of Palestine.
