WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian child was martyred and other citizens were injured, including two children and an elderly man, in Israeli army and settler attacks in the occupied West Bank.

Medical sources at the an-Najah National Hospital in Nablus City said that 14-year-old Ahmed Rushdi died of a critical bullet injury he sustained when an extremist Jewish settler opened fire at him during clashes in Sebastia town.

Eyewitnesses said that a horde of extremist settlers escorted by soldiers stormed Sebastia town in the northwest of Nablus on Sunday evening and attacked Palestinian homes, which provoked violent clashes with local residents.

A teenager and a child also suffered bullet injuries during similar clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinian youths in Idhna town, west of al-Khalil.

In western Ramallah, another group of extremist settlers guarded by Israeli police forces carried out a stone-throwing attack on Palestinian cars at the rotary of Ein Ayyoub near the towns of Deir Ammar and Kharbatha Bani Harith. One young man was reportedly injured in his head in the settler attack.

Several settlers also set fire to a house and a car belonging to Palestinian citizens during an attack in Sinjil town, northeast of Ramallah, while others damaged a number of Palestinian vehicles on the Ramallah-Nablus road near Turmus Ayya town in northern Ramallah.

Palestinian media sources reported that at least five citizens, including an elderly man and kids, were injured when settlers attacked homes in Sinjil town.
