Palestinian civilians face increasing violence amid military raids.

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens, including a lawmaker, and assaulted others during raids on homes in the West Bank last night and on Monday morning, while a settler attack on a house was reported in southeastern Nablus.

According to media sources, the IOF stormed the city of Nablus and Balata refugee camp from several directions, raiding dozens of homes and leaving widespread destruction.

The Red Crescent reported that its paramedics provided first aid for five wounded people after Israeli soldiers savagely assaulted them during a raid in Balata refugee camp near Nablus City.

Meanwhile, a settler group attacked the outskirts of the village of Jurish, southeast of Nablus, setting fire to a house.

In the city of Tubas, violent clashes broke out in the city, amid explosions and heavy gunfire, after Israeli forces stormed the area and laid siege to several neighborhoods.

In Tulkarem, the IOF kidnaped Palestinian lawmaker Riyad Raddad from his home in Seida town.

Israeli forces also stormed Illar town in Tulkarem province and used some houses as military posts after forcing their residents to leave them.

Local sources in Illar said that the IOF raided several homes, interrogated dozens of citizens and kidnaped at least eight of them.

In Jerusalem, Israeli police forces stormed the refugee camps of Qalandia and Shuafat and kidnaped one citizen from his home in Qalandia.

In the morning, the IOF launched a large-scale raid in Kafr Aqab, north of Jerusalem, deploying soldiers across the streets and snipers on the rooftops of some homes. The operation disrupted the school day as main and side roads were sealed off.

In Ramallah, the IOF kidnaped two teenagers from their homes in Kobar town, and stormed al-Jalazon refugee camp, without making arrests.

In al-Khalil, IOF raids were reported in Halhul and Beit Ummar towns. Local sources said a 14-year-old child was kidnaped by Israeli soldiers from his home in Beit Ummar.

Two citizens were also taken prisoner during an IOF raid in Halhul town.

The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem, with no reported arrests.
