GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian man was killed, and others were injured on Monday as a result of the collapse of a residential building in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City, while a number of missing persons are still under the rubble.
The civil defense crews in Gaza, announced that a martyr and two injuries were recovered from the Al-Manar building belonging to Abu Al-Amin family.
Local sources explained that the collapsed building consists of three floors and was partially destroyed at the beginning of the war, but the family of the martyr had no choice but to live in it despite the risky damage.
A number of the building’s residents have been detained in Israeli occupation prisons till the moment, according to the sources.
The United Nations organizations have previously confirmed that about 75% of the total housing units in the Gaza Strip (about 305,000 out of 439,000 housing units) were completely or partially damaged.
