Gaza – (Palestine Foundation Information Center): Palestinian resistance factions on Wednesday congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran for reaching a temporary ceasefire agreement with the United States after forty days of military confrontation, hailing it as a victory. Palestinian groups stated that the outcome of the conflict proved the failure of the aggressor’s declared objectives.
“Tehran Emerges Stronger and More Powerful”: Islamic Jihad
In a press release, Islamic Jihad stated that Iran compelled the aggressors to accept a ceasefire on its terms. The statement emphasized that the shift in the U.S. position from threats to negotiations clearly demonstrates that the aggression failed to achieve its goals. The movement reaffirmed that Tehran emerged from the confrontation stronger and more powerful than before.
The statement added that this development represents an important turning point for nations engaged in similar struggles. Palestinian groups view the outcome as proof that steadfastness and resistance can achieve long-term political and military objectives.
Strategic Defeat: Resistance Committees
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Resistance Committees described the acceptance of Iran’s conditions for the ceasefire as a strategic defeat for both the U.S. and the Israeli occupation. They stressed that the results of this confrontation will strengthen the position of the resistance axis in the region.
The Resistance Committees extended their congratulations to Iran’s allies in the region, including Hezbollah in Lebanon, factions in Iraq, and armed groups in Yemen, describing the outcome as a collective victory for all involved parties.
These statements came following the announcement from Washington and Tehran on Wednesday morning of a two-week ceasefire agreement after the forty-day conflict. All eyes are now on the implications of this agreement and the potential for broader regional negotiations.
