Palestine, (The Palestine Information Centre)Palestinian resistance fighters carried out more than a dozen retaliatory operations across the occupied territories over the past 24 hours, according to a report.
The report by the independent Palestinian Mo’ta information center said three of the 19 retaliatory attacks were shooting operations and four involved throwing explosive devices at Israeli forces.
It also added that seven separate cases of confrontations with Israeli troops were recorded in al-Quds, Nablus, Ramallah, Jenin, Qalqilya, al-Khalil, and Tulkarm.
It further said that Palestinian fighters opened fire at the al-Za’im checkpoint in occupied al-Quds, hurled explosive devices at Israeli troops in the Qalandiya checkpoint, and threw firecrackers during confrontations in the Jabel Mukaber neighborhood in southern East al-Quds.
Tulkarm refugee camp in the northern West Bank also saw shootings and explosive devices being thrown at Israeli army forces as they barged their way into the camp, according to the report.
It added that young Palestinian protesters hurled explosive devices at Israeli soldiers during clashes in Beit Ummar town, located eleven kilometers (6.8 miles) northwest of al-Khalil.
Elsewhere in Qalqilya, Palestinian youths threw stones at settlers’ vehicles, it said. There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
In July, the report said, 1,132 acts of Palestinian retaliation were recorded, including 97 shootings and armed clashes with Israeli soldiers, 33 of which were carried out in Jenin.
Amid the surge in deadly Israeli military raids and violent rampages by extremist settlers on Palestinians across the West Bank, resistance fighters keep conducting retaliatory attacks in kind.
