Palestinian homes damaged and residents displaced amid IOF raids

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) demolished on Wednesday two Palestinian homes, along with commercial and agricultural structures, and uprooted dozens of olive trees in different areas of the West Bank.

According to local sources, the IOF bulldozed two houses belonging to brothers Osama and Ra’ed Salah in the Ard al-Deir area west of al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem.

In al-Khalil, Israeli forces with heavy machinery stormed the Wadi al-Mughayir al-Harayek neighborhood of the city near the illegal settlement of Haggai and demolished a commercial structure belonging to Ahmed al-Tamimi.

The IOF also uprooted about 100 olive trees, bulldozed 10 dunums of farmland, and demolished structures in the Deir Musa area of Surif, northwest of al-Khalil. The razed property belonged to citizens from the family of Ghunaimat.

Meanwhile, the IOF demolished a concrete wall in the village of Wadi ash-Shajena, near Dura town in the southwest of al-Khalil.

The Israeli army justified the demolitions by claiming that the homes and structures had been built without permits.
