ISTANBUL, (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) has announced the launch of its new website in Kurdish at the link: “kurdish.palinfo.com,” making it the first and only Palestinian site in the Kurdish language, and the ninth language within the PIC news network.
This significant step comes to enhance the media presence of the Palestinian cause and convey the Palestinian narrative to the brotherly Kurdish people, who are known for their historical love and support for Palestine.
The center’s officials have clarified that the launch of the Kurdish version is part of ongoing efforts over many years to translate the Palestinian narrative and deliver it in multiple languages to audiences from different cultural backgrounds to enable them to fully understand the Palestinian people’s struggle, suffering, steadfastness and sacrifices.
The PIC affirmed that this new step reflects a deep recognition of the Kurdish people’s stature and their historical role in supporting the Palestinian cause.
“The Kurds hold in their collective memory the legacy of leader Salahuddin al-Ayyubi, the liberator of Jerusalem who stands as a unifying symbol proudly honored by his descendants today.”
The new website covers, through its main sections, the most prominent developments in the Palestinian arena, along with political reports and analyses, visual and photographic materials, and human-interest stories from Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and abroad. This enables the Kurdish audience to stay updated on Palestinian events in real time.
The Palestinian Information Center — established in 1997 — is considered one of the leading Palestinian media platforms, attracting millions of readers and followers across its main websites and social media channels. Amid the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, the center’s role in reporting daily events and conveying the authentic reality of the Palestinian suffering and resilience to the world has become increasingly vital.
