Palestinian injured in IOF Nablus raids

NABLUS   (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian citizen was shot and injured at dawn Friday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Nablus in the northern West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that the injured young man was transferred to the hospital, suffering from gunshot wounds.

The IOF also broke into Balata, Askar, and Al-Ain refugee camps, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes amid heavy use of live bullets, sound, and tear gas bombs.

Earlier Thursday, the Israeli forces arrested a father and his son after storming several local homes in Sebastia town, northwest of Nablus.

Also in Nablus, a Palestinian young man and a child were injured on Thursday evening as clashes erupted in Beit Furik.

In Jenin, armed clashes erupted between the resistance and the occupation army forces in Qabatiya in the city of Jenin, north of the occupied West Bank.

In Jenin, armed clashes broke out in Qabatiya town, while a family was forced to evacuate its home in Jalboun village.

In al-Khalil, the IOF soldiers forced their way into Beit Awa town, west of the city.

Local sources said that the IOF stormed the town and raided for the second time the house of prisoner Izz Salama Al-Masalma and took measurements of the house which houses 20 people.

Meanwhile, a group of Jewish settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles, near the town of Teqou, southeast of Bethlehem.

The Israeli forces also arrested a citizen and his son from the village of Harmala, southeast of Bethlehem.
