WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped last night and at dawn Wednesday a number of Palestinian citizens and opened fire at another one during raids in the West Bank.
According to local sources, one young man was injured in his leg when Israeli forces opened fire at him in Abu Shukhaydam village, northwest of Ramallah.
The IOF also raided many homes in the west and east of Ramallah, with no reported arrests.
In Nablus, the IOF kidnaped a wounded young man from his home in Balata al-Balad area, east of the city, following an hours-long raid.
Israeli forces also stormed Madama village in southern Nablus, where they broke into and ransacked dozens of homes and used some of them as interrogation centers and military posts.
Local sources said that the IOF raid in Madama village lasted for 19 hours, during which Israeli soldiers detained and interrogated over 24 citizens before releasing most of them except for two persons.
In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped a citizen from al-Baladiya suburb two days after releasing him form Israeli jails, where he spent one year in administrative detention.
At dawn, Israeli forces stormed Jenin City and its refugee camp, raided homes and wreaked havoc on public and private property using bulldozers.
The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.
