AL-KHALIL (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian young man was pronounced dead at dawn Wednesday after he succumbed to a serious bullet injury he sustained last night when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed al-Fawwar refugee camp in southern al-Khalil.
According to medical and local sources, 29-year-old Yehya Awad died of a critical bullet injury in his chest when Israeli forces stormed al-Fawwar camp last night and opened fire intensively at local youths, amid raids on homes.
Three other young men also suffered moderate bullet injuries during skirmishes with Israeli soldiers in the camp.
The slain young man has a one-year-old girl child and his wife is pregnant with a second kid. He works for the al-Khalil municipality.
Consequently, Palestinian factions have called for participating in a general strike in al-Fawwar camp in mourning for martyr Awad.
