RAMALLAH, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot dead a Palestinian young man on Monday afternoon as he was driving his car on a road in western Ramallah.
According to the Palestinian health ministry, 33-year-old Bilal Qadah was killed on a road near the village of Deir Nidham in western Ramallah.
The Hebrew media claimed that the young man tried to plant an explosive device in the area, while other news reports said he opened fire and tried to throw an improvised bomb at Israeli soldiers.
The Hebrew media also quoted military sources as saying that the Israeli army found a rifle in the slain young man’s car.
Palestinian officials, however, said that the Israeli army made such claims about the young man in order to justify his killing.
