JENIN,(Palestine Foundation Information Center) On Monday evening, the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fatally shot a young Palestinian man near the town of Ya’bad, southwest of Jenin in the northern part of the West Bank.
The Palestinian health ministry confirmed that the soldiers killed Yousef Walid Abdullah Ibrahim, 20, after shooting him near the Dotan Israeli military checkpoint.
Following the shooting, Israeli forces sealed off the area and obstructed Palestinian medics from reaching the victim.
The IOF claimed Ibrahim was carrying a Carlo-type rifle and exchanged fire with soldiers near the illegal settlement of Maoz Tzvi, adjacent to Mevo Dotan illegal settlement, both built on stolen Palestinian land southwest of Jenin.
