Islamabad : The defense of the Palestinian cause is the defense of Pakistan, the Palestinian nation will always remember Gen Qassem Soleimani. High tributes were paid to the martyrs of the Palestine Liberation Movement. A conference was held at Islamabad press club on Saturday to pay the tribute to martyrs of Palestine and Qasem Solemani as Palestinian called him Martyr of Quds. The conference was organized by Palestine Foundation Pakistan Islamabad Chapter and Jamat Ahley Haram Pakistan.
The Palestine problem is the problem of the world humanity, Arab countries’ relations with Israel are the result of their weaknesses. The Pakistani nation is proud that our leader is Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal.
These views were expressed by political and religious leaders including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Senator General (retd) Abdul Qayyum, well-known journalist and analyst Hamid Mir, Chairman of Majlis Wahdat Muslimin Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, Hamas leader from Palestine Dr. Khalid Qadumi. Jamaat Ahl Haram Chief Allama Mufti Gulzar Naimi, Tehreek Jawaan Pakistan Chairman Abdullah Gul, Hurriyat Leader Abdul Hameed Lone, Human Rights Council President Jamshed Hussain, Research Scholar Arslan Ayaz, Islamabad High Court Bar Asif Raza Tanbuli and Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam of Palestine Foundation Pakistan while addressing the Quds Martyrs Conference at Islamabad Press Club.
The speakers said that the Palestinian issue is kept alive by the resistance and it is our duty to support the Palestinian cause.
Addressing the conference, President of Conference Senator General (retd) Abdul Qayyum said that Pakistan has a clear stand on Palestine and we will never recognize Israel. He said that providing justice is more important than establishing peace in the world.
Renowned journalist and analyst Hamid Mir said that if the Arab world recognizes Israel, it is the incompetence of the Arab rulers, but we are proud that we have Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal and our leaders supporting the cause of Palestine. That is why we are with Palestine and will continue to fight for the rights of Palestinians.
Addressing the conference, Allama Nasir Abbas Jafari said that the only way to freedom of Palestine is the way of resistance. He paid tribute to the martyrs of the Quds Liberation Movement including Shaheed Ahmad Yasin, Shaheed Qasim Soleimani and all the martyrs of Palestine. He said that martyr Qasim Soleimani has strengthened the Palestinian resistance. We strongly condemn the American government and their agents who killed Qasim Soleimani.
Addressing the conference, the leader of Hamas from Palestine, Dr. Khaled Qadoumi, said that today the resistance of Palestine is stronger than ever and it includes the sacrifices of Qassem Soleimani. The Palestinian people will always remember Qassem Soleimani as the hero and martyr of Quds.
Addressing the conference, Allama Gulzar Naimi said that the path of Quds martyrs is a torch for us. He said that we pay homage to the martyrs of Palestine.
Addressing the conference, Abdullah Gul said that Pakistan is the biggest supporter of the Palestinian cause. He said that the war for the liberation of Palestine is the war for the survival of Pakistan. We must continue to support the cause of Palestine in accordance with the policy of the Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Addressing the conference, Abdul Hameed Lon said that global imperialist forces are heating the market of terrorism in Kashmir and Palestine, we have to fight them effectively.
