GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian prisoner from Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, died from torture he endured at the Sde Teiman detention center, family sources revealed on Sunday.
The Al-Khawaja family said that the Red Cross informed them of the martyrdom of their son, Arafat Al-Khawaja, who was tortured to death last February in Sde Teiman prison.
Al-Khawaja’s death brings the total number of Palestinian prisoners and detainees killed in Israeli jails since 1967 to 262, whose identities have been revealed.
Since the start of the Israeli genocide war on Gaza on October 7, the Israeli army has arrested hundreds of Palestinian citizens from the Gaza Strip and held them in the Sde Teiman detention center.
