Jerusalem (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian teen was shot and killed by Israeli gunfire in Shuafat refugee camp, north of Occupied Jerusalem, on Wednesday evening.
A special Israeli unit stormed the camp amid heavy gunfire, which led to the serious injury of the 16-year-old Hani Majdi Al-Kari.
Hani was shot in the chest before succumbing to his serious wounds.
The Israeli forces sent military reinforcements to the camp, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes amid heavy use of live ammunition, sound bombs, and toxic tear gas.
Hani’s martyrdom brings the total death toll in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, to 707, including 160 children, 10 women, and 9 elderly people.
