OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation police seized the body of a Palestinian worker who died of severe injuries on Wednesday after falling at a construction site in Occupied Jerusalem, the Jerusalem governor’s office reported.
The governor’s office said that Ra’fat Hammad, a 35-year-old father of three kids, succumbed to his injuries after being chased by Israeli police officers, leading to his fall from a height of five floors at the site.
The Israeli occupation police said they would perform an autopsy on Hammad’s body at the pretext of confirming his identity. However, his family objected to this measure and announced they would work on bringing his body back to Silwad, his hometown in the West Bank, for burial.
