A Palestinian citizen sustained a bullet injury last night after a horde of extremist Jewish settlers attacked Sinjil town, north of Ramallah City in the occupied West Bank.
According to the Sinjil municipality, a young man from the town was shot in the foot during an armed settler attack.
The municipality explained that settlers fired bursts of bullets at members of the local guard committee tasked with protecting the town and its residents, injuring one of them.
The municipality described the incident as part of a growing wave of settler violence, backed by the Israeli occupation army, aimed at imposing a new fait accompli on the ground in the West Bank.
