NABLUS (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian young man was martyred on Monday evening when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at him near the new refugee camp of Askar in the east of Nablus City.
The martyr was transferred to the Rafidia Hospital in Nablus. He was identified as 18-year-old Mohamed Abu Kishk.
According to local sources, Israeli forces stormed the eastern area of Nablus and spread mainly near the new camp of Askar and al-Masaken ash-Shabiyah neighborhood, which provoked clashes with local youths.
The sources added that two young men suffered bullet injuries during the events in the area.
For its part, the Red Crescent said that the IOF prevented its paramedics from entering the area to evacuate a young man suffering from a serious bullet injury, but later they managed to transfer him to the Rafidia Hospital, where doctors announced his death.
