AL-KHALIL (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian young man was injured by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in al-Khalil on Thursday evening.
The young man was injured as clashes erupted when the IOF stormed Idhna town, west of al-Khalil.
According to local sources, the IOF stormed the town, set up military checkpoints on several roads, and stopped and searched Palestinian vehicles.
The IOF also fired teargas bombs and rubber bullets during the raid, injuring a 30-year-old young man by a rubber-coated metal bullet in the head. His condition was described as stable.
In Jericho, Jewish settlers closed a watercourse in the Auja spring, north of the city.
Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of the “Al-Baidar” organization for the defense of Bedouin rights, reported that settlers blocked a watercourse in the Auja spring with stones.
The Auja spring is considered a primary source for Bedouin communities and farmers in Auja for irrigation and drinking.
