Palestinian youth killed by IOF near Nablus

NABLUS (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) shot and killed a Palestinian young man at the Deir Sharaf military checkpoint northwest of Nablus in the northern West Bank on Tuesday evening.

The Palestinian Health Ministry identified the victim as Izz al-Din Takrouri.

Ambulance crews were prevented from approaching the victim’s body, it added.

The IOF immediately closed the checkpoint following the incident and prevented Palestinian movement in both directions after confiscating a vehicle believed to belong to the young man.
