OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian youth was killed on Sunday evening after allegedly stabbing an Israeli police officer in Occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli media outlets reported that border guards “neutralized” the young man, a term used by Israeli security to indicate that the young man was killed on the spot. They added that the Israeli police officer was lightly wounded and taken to hospital for treatment.
Israeli press reports said that the police forces closed all gates leading to the Aqsa Mosque following the incident that happened near Bab el-Amud.
