WEST BANK, (The Palestine Information Centre)One Jewish settler was injured and a number of settler cars sustained damage on Sunday evening when Palestinian young men responded to Israeli violations in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources, young men hurled stones at settler vehicles on a road near Azzun town in eastern Qalqilya, damaging two buses.
Local youths in Azzun also threw stones at settlers who tried to attack their town and injured one of them, while Israeli forces intensified their presence in the area.
Meanwhile, violent clashes also broke out between local youths and Israeli forces in Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah.
In Bethlehem, a group of settlers assaulted and wounded a Palestinian farmer during his presence on his own land in Khalayel al-Luz village. He was transferred to hospital for medical assistance.
The Israeli occupation forces also confiscated an agricultural tractor belonging to a Palestinian farmer in Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil.
In a separate incident, Israeli police officers kidnaped a Palestinian young man after stopping him at one of the Aqsa Mosque’s gates and took him to the Qishla interrogation center in the Old City of Jerusalem.
