WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Several Palestinians were injured and others were kidnaped in a series of raids and attacks carried out by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and extremist settlers across the West Bank last night and on Wednesday morning.
The Red Crescent reported that a young man was wounded by Israeli gunfire near the Jubara military checkpoint south of Tulkarem.
Another citizen sustained a bullet injury during an IOF raid in the city of Dura, south of al-Khalil, where soldiers fired live rounds, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters at local residents, and ransacked commercial stores.
In the northeast of Ramallah, several citizens were injured in an attack by settlers targeting the al-Ara’ira Bedouin community between the towns of Ramon and Deir Dibwan.
Residents reported that some of the settlers who attacked the community were armed, adding that Israeli forces stormed the area to secure their withdrawal.
In another incident, a man was shot and another sustained bruises during a settler attack on homes in the village of al-Rashayda, southeast of Bethlehem, which sparked clashes with local residents.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces kidnaped a young man from al-Bireh City’s al-Hashimiya neighborhood. They also carried out a military operation in Salfit that lasted for hours, involving raids on homes and displacing families.
In Jenin, the IOF deployed more than 15 armored vehicles in the city and its refugee camp, and patrolled villages and towns across the governorate, which sparked panic among local residents.
In the village of Yabrud, east of Ramallah, settlers stole several sheep after attacking its outskirts and vandalizing agricultural structures and livestock pens, while firing shots at residents. Two citizens sustained injuries in the settler attack.
Soon later, Israeli forces stormed the same village, with no reported arrests.
Israeli forces also stormed the village of Ein Yabrud, northeast of Ramallah, and fired tear gas canisters at homes.
Meanwhile, clashes with Israeli troops broke out after a horde of extremist settlers attacked the al-Qarna area in the plains of Turmus Ayya town, northeast of Ramallah.
The IOF also stormed the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, and shot and injured a young man near the Qalandia checkpoint north of Jerusalem.
In al-Khalil, Israeli forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar, north of the city, raiding one home, along with several others in the town of Idhna to the west.
Israeli soldiers reportedly kidnaped two young men from their homes in Beit Ummar town and the southern part of al-Khalil.
Additionally, another citizen was taken prisoner following an IOF raid on his home in the village of Till, southwest of Nablus.
The IOF also carried out raids on homes and arrests in the town of Qusra, southeast of Nablus.
