GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A number of Palestinian citizens sustained injuries on Monday morning when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at them in the east of Gaza City.
According to Palestinian media sources, some citizens were injured by IOF gunfire near the junction of ash-Shuja’iya in the east of Gaza City.
Meanwhile, intensive Israeli artillery fire targeted today the eastern areas of Gaza, while warplanes bombed the eastern areas of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, amid heavy drone overflights over the city.
Israeli tanks also opened intense fire towards the eastern neighborhoods of Khan Yunis, and the al‑Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
In northern Gaza, Israeli artillery shelled areas in the town of Beit Lahia.
In Gaza City, Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on the eastern districts, coinciding with sporadic artillery fire in the same area.
The Israeli occupation army also carried out overnight demolitions of residential buildings in the eastern Gaza Strip.
