The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) injured two Palestinian citizens, including a woman, and kidnaped several others during raids in the West Bank on Tuesday.
In the village of Umm Safa, north of Ramallah, a young man was shot by Israeli forces. The Red Crescent reported that Israeli forces prevented its teams from reaching him.
In a statement, the Red Crescent said its crews were trying, with the help of the Red Cross to evacuate the wounded young man from the village.
Israeli forces also stormed the same village and detained and assaulted several young men, while firing tear gas canisters and stun grenades at homes.
In Bethlehem, a 35-year-old woman was injured by IOF gunfire near the Mazmuria checkpoint east of the city. She was rushed to the hospital for medical assistance, according to the Red Crescent.
In Tulkarem, the IOF kidnaped three citizens from the suburb of Izbat al-Tiyah and another one from as-Suwannah neighborhood of the city.
In Salfit, two young brothers were taken prisoner following an IOF raid in az-Zawiya town.
In Nablus, Israeli forces stormed a house belonging to the family of prisoner Abdul-Karim Sanoubar in Zawata town and forced its residents to evacuate it as a prelude to detonating it.
Local sources said that the IOF also forced other families to leave nearby homes in the town before they prepared the Sanoubar family’s house for detonation.
One citizen was reportedly kidnaped by the IOF from Beit Dajan town, east of Nablus.
Meanwhile, the IOF demolished another house belonging to the family of prisoner Ayman Ghannam in Aqaba town, north of Tubas.
The IOF also carried out raids in other areas of the West Bank, amid road closures.
