WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Five Palestinian citizens were injured and two others were kidnaped after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed al-Jalazon refugee camp in northern Ramallah on Monday morning.
According to local sources, the IOF stormed al-Jalazon camp and embarked on firing tear gas canisters and live and rubber bullets at local residents and homes, injuring four of them, including a child.
Israeli soldiers also beat a citizen, but there was no information about his health condition.
The IOF kidnaped two young men from their homes during the same raid in the camp.
In al-Khalil, the IOF raided a house in Beit Ummar town, confiscated agricultural materials from it and kidnaped the owner.
The IOF also broke into and ransacked the house of al-Khalil City mayor Tayseer Abu Sneina in the southern area of the city and interrogated a number of his relatives.
In Nablus, Israeli forces kidnaped at dawn one citizen from the city and two brothers from Askar al-Balad village.
The IOF also kidnaped a number of young citizens during a raid in Budrus village, west of Ramallah.
Local sources said that the IOF interrogated the detained young men in one of the homes in Budrus before kidnaping them.
Recently, the Palestinian Authority security informed Israeli forces that it had found and defused a rocket ready for launch in Budrus village.
The IOF also stormed last night and on Monday morning other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.
In a separate incident, a horde of extremist Jewish settlers tried at dawn to assault Muslim worshipers who gathered for prayers at the Nour Mosque in Burqa village, east of Ramallah, and damaged a parked car outside the mosque.
