Two Palestinians Injured in Settler Attack in Northern West Bank

WEST BANK, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)

Two Palestinians were injured, one of them seriously, following an attack carried out by armed Jewish settlers against Palestinian farmers near the town of Beit Lid in the southeast of Tulkarem, north of the occupied West Bank, on Thursday morning.

According to media sources, a horde of armed settlers carrying guns, clubs and stones attacked the farmers while they were working their agricultural lands near Beit Lid.

Ambulance crews rushed the wounded farmers to the hospital for medical assistance.

Other groups of settlers also carried out a series of violent attacks across the occupied West Bank today, underscoring a continuing pattern of assaults against Palestinian citizens and property.

In Nablus, a horde of settlers stormed the town of Jamma’in and started setting up a settlement outpost.

Local sources reported that settlers pitched some tents on a swath of land near their town.

In Ramallah, settlers brutalized Palestinian farmers in al-Khalayel area near al-Mughayir town, while other settlers bulldozed swaths of land and trees near the house of the Abu Awwad family in Turmus Ayya town.

In al-Khalil, two settlers stole a donkey after sneaking into the home of Khalil al‑Huraini in the Wadi al‑Rakhim area near Khirbet Susiya in Masafer Yatta.
