WEST BANK, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)

A Palestinian young man was injured on Wednesday evening by Israeli gunfire during a military raid on Shuafat refugee camp, north of Occupied Jerusalem.

According to the Jerusalem Governorate, Israeli forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets at civilians near the camp entrance, leaving a young man injured who was taken to hospital for medical treatment.

Shuafat camp is frequently subjected to Israeli incursions and assaults, often accompanied by violent confrontations amid heavy firing of live and rubber bullets, as part of an ongoing escalation targeting the camp’s residents on a daily basis.

In a separate incident, Israeli occupation forces also arrested an injured person from inside an ambulance at the entrance of the town of Tammun, south of Tubas, in the northern West Bank.

Medical sources with the Red Crescent reported that the occupation forces arrested a wounded individual from inside an ambulance at the entrance of Tammun. He was injured after being beaten in the town.

At the same time, Israeli forces stormed the town of Aqraba, south of Nablus, in the northern West Bank, and fired tear gas in the Bani Jaber area, sparking violant clashes with no injuries reported.

The West Bank is witnessing an unprecedented surge in settler and Israeli occupation forces attacks against Palestinians, resulting in the killing of at least 1,076 people, the injury of around 10,700, and the arrest of more than 20,500 during the two years of the genocidal war in Gaza.
