GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Palestine Telecommunications Company (Paltel) announced the gradual return of communications services to the Gaza Strip as of Friday evening.
Paltel said in a statement that its crews were working on the repair of the services cut in many sites in the beleaguered Strip that was caused by the ongoing Israeli aggression.
It said that the crews managed to return the service to its status before the last cut, recalling that two of its crews were killed in an Israeli bombing while doing the repairs in the last cut.
The Israeli aggression, which entered its 106th day Saturday, has caused vast destruction in infrastructure in the besieged enclave and almost turned the entire Strip into ruins with more than two thirds of its buildings reduced to rubble.
