People showing anger on G20 summit in disputed Kashmir

Karachi ( Palestine Information Center) The governments of Western countries participating in the G20 summit in Occupied Kashmir are demolishing the right of self-determination of the Kashmiri people. The speakers expressed these views in front of the Karachi Press Club against the G20 conference hosted by India in Occupied Kashmir.

While addressing the protest meeting organized in support of the right of self-determination, protestors have shown their anger.

 The protest demonstration was organized by the Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF) and the Human Rights Council of Pakistan.

The demonstration was led by patron members of Palestine Foundation Pakistan including Jamaat-e-Islami Vice Amir Asadullah Bhutto, Bashir Sadouzai, Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam and Jamshed Hussain.

Among the protesters were Jamaat-e-Islami Deputy Amir Muslim Parvez, Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Sindh President Allama Baqer Zaidi, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Leader Asrar Abbasi, Jamiat Ulema Pakistan Leader Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani, Karachi Bar Association General Secretary Waqar Abbasi, Social leader Abdul Waheed Younis, leader of Kashmir Committee Sardar Asif Saduzai, Kashmiri leader Sagheer Ahmed Advocate, Hindu scholar Manoj Chauhan, Christian leader Younis Masih, and Qari Idris along with Akram Naqshbandi and others spoke.

Political and religious leaders from across the city including civil society, members of youth organizations, and minority community leaders including human rights representatives participated in the protest in solidarity with the Kashmiri people.

Addressing the participants of the protest, the speakers said that the whole world knows that the Occupied Kashmir region is a disputed region, but still, as always, due to India’s stubbornness, the conference is being held in a disputed region, which violates international laws. It is a serious violation. The speakers described the involvement of the international community in the occupied Kashmir and the disputed region as a grave injustice to the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.

The speakers said that due to the double standards of the international community and institutions, the establishment of peace around the world has become a question mark.

They said that the participants of the G20 countries should boycott the participation in the conference in occupied Kashmir and the disputed territory.

The speakers strongly condemned India’s state terrorism in Kashmir and said that the people of Pakistan were always with the people of Kashmir and always remain. They said that if India holds a conference in Occupied Kashmir and thinks that it will seize Kashmir, then it will not be allowed to happen.

The speakers demanded that the government of Pakistan should adopt an effective foreign policy on the issue of Kashmir. They said that Indian stubbornness and state oppression and terrorism have made the lives of the Kashmiri people miserable for 75 years.

They further said that the participation of the governments of the Western countries in the conference in the disputed region has opened the fortress of democracy slogans including human rights and justice of the Western world.

Down with the USA, Israel and India also shouted slogans while the protesters burnt the American, Israeli and Indian flags along with the pictures of fascist Modi.
