KARACHI (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Newly elected Vice President of Karachi Press Club (KPC) Irshad Khokhar has said that KPC considers the issue of Palestine and Kashmir as a national cause and the journalist community will always continue to support the Palestine cause.
He expressed these views during a meeting with the delegation of Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF) at Karachi Press Club on Monday.
A delegation of PLF Pakistan, led by Jamaat-e-Islami Deputy Amir and member of Palestine Foundation’s Guardian Committee, Muslim Pervez, met with the newly elected officials and members of KPC and congratulated them on their success in the recent elections.
PLF delegation also Offered sweets and flower buket to the officials of KPC.
In the delegation of Palestine Foundation Pakistan, Secretary General Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, former member of Sindh Assembly Mahfouz Yar Khan Advocate, Arshad Naqvi Advocate of Pakistan Peoples Party, Pir Azhar Ali Hamdani of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Kashmiri leader Bashir Sadozai, Mufti Muaz Nizami, Naseem Shah, Qazi Zahid Hussain and All Pakistan Traders Association President Saqib Nowshahi and others were present while KPC Joint Secretary Munsif Ahmed, Kafeel Ahmed, Mona Siddiqui and others were also present.
While talking to the delegation of Palestine Foundation Pakistan, the newly elected members of Karachi Press Club said that it is our responsibility to raise voice for the oppressed Palestinians. They further said that they will continue to raise a common and effective voice for the cause of Palestine and Kashmir.
The members of Karachi Press Club paid tribute by appreciating the establishment and continuous struggle of Palestine Foundation Pakistan.
