GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) has said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have kidnaped at least 640 Palestinian children since the war on the Gaza Strip started last October.
In a statement on Monday, PPS said that the IOF kidnaped a seven-year-old child identified as Bahaa Kadem from al-Mughayyir town in Ramallah on the first day of the Eid al-Adha holiday before releasing him later.
Israeli soldiers kidnaped Bahaa and three other kids during their presence inside the town, according to his family.
PPS added that Bahaa was beaten by the soldiers during his detention, pointing out that the IOF raided a house belonging to the kid’s family a few days ago and kidnaped his brother Ali.
PPS said that the Palestinian children in Israeli jails are exposed to maltreatment, abuse and medical neglect, adding that there is a group of Gazan kids in Megiddo jail.
