GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) team in Gaza City killing a paramedic and injuring others on Wednesday.
The incident occurred in the area between Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital and Al-Shifa Hospital, the PRSC said in a statement.
This occurred after a PRCS ambulance team from the southern Gaza Strip headed to Gaza City on a humanitarian mission to evacuate several wounded individuals, the statement added.
Since October 7, Israel has waged a devastating war on the Gaza Strip, which has left thousands of people killed, an enormous humanitarian catastrophe, and a major health and environmental disaster.
