GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Abu Obeida, the spokesman for al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas, has praised the group’s fighters on Wednesday, calling their recent operations “unparalleled acts of bravery and courage.”
Abu Obeida made the remarks after the recent deadly ambush against Israeli forces in Gaza. Seven Israeli soldiers were killed and others were seriously injured in the attack.
“Our fighters have provided exceptional examples of heroism and boldness,” Abu Obeida said.
“The latest ambushes are living images for history that has proved that our people’s freedom fighters are among the most courageous and self-sacrificing in modern times,” Abu Obeida added
Abu Obeida stressed that “the funerals and corpses of enemy soldiers will remain a permanent scene as long as the occupation persists in its criminal war against our people.”
He accused the Israeli occupation government of deceiving its public and refusing to admit that it is “throwing its soldiers into the quagmire of Gaza for the sake of unreal political objectives.”
